How technology has changed our lives.

“how technology changes our life in some aspects such as education, medicine, life, the way we communicate, and the way we respond etc.”     Sometimes after a long stressful day I sit back and wonder what it would have been like to be alive 100 years ago. So lets compare the year of 1920 to the year of 2020. World War 1 had just ended, and the "mass media" was born. The "talking box" now known as the modern day radio became a huge hit in the year 1920 after it started broadcasting live results of the presidential election. Only three years later 500,000 radios had been bought by American people. That is a great example on how fast technology can evolve and how quickly people catch onto it and want the "next big thing." Now in the year of 2020 people can simply pick up their smart phone or tablet, and get the latest news on the presidential election.        I think that the video on how technology has hijacked the dinner table relates to eve...

How technology has changed our lives.

Jackie Loya 8/24/20 Educational Technology Cheng, Hsien Wu, PhD.     How technology changes our life in some respects such as education, medicine, life, the way we communicate, and the way we respond etc. While watching the video on how technology has hijacked dinnertime, I saw how this video relates to our daily lives. My daughter gets real upset when I turn the tv off or take phone or tablet away, she cries hysterically...

With the world being as fast-paced and constantly changing, technology has been no exception. It has made leaps and bounds in improving everyday human life, whether we're aware or not. As global pandemic sweeps across the nation, we've been able to turn to our modern-day technology to seek other solutions. When we could no longer be in the classroom in person, we had the availability to switch to learning over the internet. Although it took some adjusting time, the experience I've had has been somewhat successful. I don't believe you can beat being in class, but in a time where you can't go due to circumstances, it's the best option to have. The technology of today is incredible. I observed in a classroom in Libera...
