Reflections on Google Classroom

There are many ways to implement google classroom as a teacher. As a teacher, I plan to implement google classroom as a way to assign lessons, homework, and quizzes. It's efficient to be able to put all of these assignments into one area for students to access when needed. Also, I can use google classroom to post updates about the class. As a student, you can use google classroom to keep updated on the class and do assignments assigned by the teacher. Also, you can use the classroom to communicate with your teacher. Students may also be able to use google classroom to share work with each other during group projects so they don't have to be in person together if something like COVID-19 ever happens again. As a parent google classroom would be a beneficial tool for them to keep up with what their student is doing in class. In a technology-based era, some young students will struggle with being able to keep up on their assignments or struggle with some of the technological tools. Google classroom would allow their parents to also see what is going on in the classroom and offer support where needed. The benefits to google classroom are limitless as far as I can see. It cuts down on the constantly having to search for the video you found the night before as you can simply add it to this week's assignments. The little bit I've messed with google classroom I can see how efficient it has been. Assigning work for this class was a breeze and to me the longest part of the assignment was creating the quiz by hand; other than that this assignment of assigning a video took little to no time at all! I believe google classroom will be something I implement in my future teaching career, or to help formulate lesson plans for the rest of my education classes. This has been a very effective tool that I've enjoyed using thus far.
